The Empathy Project I VR & Brand Identity
Brought together by a common interest in social issues, The Empathy Project’s goal is to teach empathy through the perspective taking approach which occurs when a person is able to imagine themselves in the situation of another. In addition, we aim to educate the public about their fundamental rights. With the help from Anthropology major, Katherine Scully, we produced a VR film, CONOZCA SUS DERECHOS (Know Your Rights), to inform people about their basic rights when confronted about their immigration status. This scenario features helpful information on what to do if an I.C.E. agent was to pay you a visit at home. Additional Contributors: January Roan, Ji Park, Nacho Pena, Setareh Javadi and Vincent Abuan
